Our Story
Ice Station Zebra was established in 2022 with the intention of bringing high quality & cost effective services to the security industry.
Our company name comes from the book, and later movie adaptation, of the same name by Alistair MacLean. The movie is focused on Cold War era intrigue and suspense, but at its core, it is a movie about security, social engineering and intellectual property. Throughout the book and movie the focus remains on solving the mysteries presented and the best ways to solve these problems.

A seasoned security professional with nearly 25 years of diverse experience in the security industry, Tim is a senior leader with extensive expertise in multiple facets of security operations. With extensive time spent overseas in Asia/Pacific countries such as Taiwan, Japan, and China, he has a deep understanding of global security protocols and regulations.
Tim possesses a wide range of knowledge in security procedures, including staff
training, crisis response planning, security system installation, property protection assessments, vendor procurement and management, and security protocols for dealing with precious metals and materials, intellectual property, risk assessments and mitigation, and supply chain security. He has a track record of spearheading expatriate support and evacuation procedures, pandemic response planning, and security plans aligned with the US Department of Homeland Security Critical Infrastructure Protection Plan.
